Alizé Léhon is a French conductor recognised for the precision of her technique and her artistic commitment. She is distinguished by the quality of her work with musicians and by the clarity of her interpretations, with a particular affinity for the demanding repertoire of the twentieth century.

In 2026, she received the Victoires de la Musique Classique “Révélation Conductor” award and won Third Prize as well as the Generation Opera Prize at the La Maestra Competition, marking an important step in her international career.

Her work in opera includes a highly acclaimed debut with Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail (French version) at Opéra de Tours.

During the 2026/27 season, she is appointed Principal Conductor of ADO – Apprentissage de l’Opéra, the Paris Opera’s youth orchestra programme, bringing together its two youth opera orchestras. She begins this collaboration in October with the Défilé du Ballet, the emblematic event that opens the dance season at the Palais Garnier.

She makes her debut with the Paris Opera Ballet and Orchestra, co-conducting George Balanchine’s Jewels. She returns to Théâtre du Châtelet with the musical Les Misérables, following her performance there of Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du soldat in 2025. She continues to bring Bazar Circus to new audiences with two new partners, the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Lyon and the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. She also returns to the Orchestre national de Metz Grand Est and begins a second season as Assistant Conductor of the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, alongside its Music Director, Case Scaglione.

Previous guest engagements include the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Musikkollegium Winterthur, Sinfonieorchester Basel, Orchestre national de Lyon, Orchestre national de Montpellier Occitanie, Orchestre national Bordeaux Aquitaine, Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, Orchestre national Avignon-Provence, Orchestre national Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Orchestre Philharmonique de l’Opéra de Nice, Orchestre national de Cannes, Orchestre de Picardie and Orchestre Colonne.

Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris with Alain Altinoglu, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Conducting in 2024. The same year, she conducted the Danish National Symphony Orchestra at the Malko International Conducting Competition and was awarded the Second Neeme Järvi Prize at the Gstaad Conducting Academy.

Deeply committed to music education and amateur ensemble building, she served for four years as Music Director of the Chœur et Orchestre des Grandes Écoles and the DÉMOS Metz Moselle-Nord Orchestra. Her commitment to music-making in prison also led her to conduct a symphonic concert at the Paris-La Santé penitentiary centre.
